We inform the free media, noble and freedom-seeking compatriots of Afghanistan that today, Saturday, October 17, 2026, around 3:00 pm, the brave and fighting forces of the National Independence Front in a precise and targeted rocket operation, targeted the guest house of Mullah Mohammad Akhund, the self-proclaimed governor of Taliban province in Badghis district.  

As a result of the attack, two bodyguards of the self-proclaimed Taliban governor were killed and four others were seriously wounded.

The National Independence Front forces returned to their bases safely after the successful operation.

The National Independence Front reiterates that it will continue its aggressive and targeted attacks against the positions and officials of this group until the complete surrender of the occupiers and the establishment of justice and freedom throughout the country.
